Compaction & Sintering
Compaction and sintering are the foundation of every powder metal component we produce. Using advanced multi-level compaction presses and carefully controlled sintering processes, we create near-net-shape parts that combine dimensional consistency, material performance, and cost efficiency.

Compaction
Our compaction process precisely compresses engineered metal powders at pressures up to 40-45 tons per square inch, producing "green" components that maintain their shape prior to sintering. Multi-level tooling allows us to manufacture complex geometries while maintaining uniform density throughout the part.

Sintering
Once compacted, components move through controlled-atmosphere sintering furnaces where individual powder particles metallurgically bond together. Multiple furnace zones carefully manage lubricant removal, oxide reduction, carbon diffusion, and final bonding to achieve the desired material properties.
Precision Machining & Grinding
While powder metal manufacturing delivers near-net-shape components, some applications require tighter tolerances, specialized geometries, or enhanced surface finishes.
Our machining and grinding capabilities allow us to achieve those requirements while preserving the economic advantages of powder metal production.

Today, with expansive production space and high-tonnage press capabilities, this location supports high-volume component production and advanced sintering operations.
